on the occasion of United Arab Emirates' 51st National Day, the Ehtifal Al Emirates Art Training Workshop was organised by ArtCrafts—with artists from over 65 countries participating—in Abu Dhabi.

The only Bangladeshi to participate in the workshop was Mahfuzur Rahman, a Dubai-based artist. The workshop took place on December 3 and 4. Due to the large number of participants involved, the Ehtifal Al Emirates Art Training Workshop has set a record in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Mahfuzur Rahman's painting--on an 18 by 6 feet canvas--focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This painting will be housed in the Abu Dhabi National Museum.

Previously, the record was held by a workshop where artists from 50 different countries had participated. A Guinness Book of Records official handed over the certificate to the organisers.

Before this, Mahfuzur Rahman had participated in over 35 exhibitions across 28 countries. His painting, 'Ancestors', was placed as a semi-finalist in the 'Artist of the Year' art competition organised by UK-based art organisation, The Artist Lounge. Mahfuzur Rahman also received the 'International Artist of the Year 2021 Award' (IAA) from Camelback Gallery in the US.
